I am in PA. These chicks will start out inside, end up in the coop. We are on a couple of acres, but not looking to have a ton of chickens, just enough to make it fun. I home school my youngest 3 boys, so this will be a family product.
We are getting a Rhode Island Red, a Buff Orpington and 2 I don't remember their breeds.....begins with Au...something. They lay green eggs. Easter egg chickens is what I was told they are called?
I am hoping to have the box all set up tomorrow, pending arrival on Mon or Tues.....what do I need to do in the next couple of days in anticipation of their arrival? Thanks!
