I fumbled and dropped an egg in their run a few days ago. Mine aren't egg eaters but they sure came running to see what I dropped. I hurriedly picked up the shell and kicked dirt over the egg. Then I took the hard bristled broom I use to clean out the coop and swept the egg right out the gate. Worked like a charm but freaked me out. I don't want them trying out any egg.
