[CHICKENS-101] Ants in coop

 

I have my small banty hen I put in the chicken tractor to hatch some eggs. It had sat empty for quite a few months. We cleaned it up and put her and the eggs in it. The next day, I noticed there were little black ants on the outside by the back door. Today we noticed there are some inside the coop area also on the wall. They don’t seem to be around the nest box or on the hen or eggs. Should I do anything? She has 17 days to go till hatch. Would Diatomaceous Earth help? I have some and could sprinkle it around in the coop.
