Not ordered as of yet.
Got Silkies and a bantam cross setting eggs right now. And 2 babies in my bathroom. Silkie X D'uccle. On a hatchery waiting list for Serama and Madagascar Game Chickens. Will be ordering Runner ducklings if I can't find any local. Still debating what breed to buy for meat birds to sell. I don't want to deal with Cornish.
Hoping to hear back from TSC this week regarding replacing my bater. I've got Sultan eggs I've been collecting that I want to get started on.
We just bought my FIL's van, so soon as Sonny get's done dealing with all that stuff he's going to start working on redoing 2 houses and making a pen for my Runners. Have to catch him in the mood before mower repair season starts. One house is has to be razed, but it has my power box for all 4 houses in it, so we are debating on how to do that one. The other needs the roof repairs finished and a floor put in. I'm so sick of dirt floors!

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Chick order
So this is my last subject tonight. Lol
I ordered chicks, ducks, and geese this last week. Has anyone else placed their spring order?
I ordered: buff orpingtons, buff cornish, sumatras, nankins, quail old english bantams, black silkies, self blue silkies, rouens, black east indian ducks, and toulouse geese from Ideal. I'm going to try to pick up a few more Ancona ducks from the local feed store. That should do for buying of any hatchery chicks for quite a while if not for good. I like Ideal I just think that should do and I'll concentrate on my breeding program.
