Valerie, Yay, and thank heavens your girl is better.  Scally leg mites are very painful and can cripple a chicken.  I am so happy that yo her treated with a quick treatment that works well and that she is laying again. Happy New Year!

I just wanted to let everyone know how things were going. Thanks to advice from Cathryn, I got the pour on ivermectin and put one drop on each leg of my little bantam. After just a couple of days, she is doing better and started laying again.  Thank you for all the help everyone provides. I don't think I would have attempted having chickens if I hadn't found this group.
