[CHICKENS-101] Re: Dual Purpose Chickens (laying eggs)

 

Hi Donna: The prime time for egg production is one year after they start after that production falls off a bit. It will comtinue to decrease for the rest of the chickens life. I personally know of a New Hampshire Red that laid one egg a week at 18 years of age.
