a. I have Buff and Lavender Orpingtons, Leghorn, Light Brahma, Americauna, Polish, Silkie, Serama and several others.
b. We keep them for eggs, and entertainment. Our grandkids love to help take care of them.
c. We live in Northeast Georgia.
d. Some of our chickens have been rescued from situations where another person had too many or stopped enjoying them, or moved, or did not like them after they got them. Some I chose because of their special characteristics, like the Serama, Polish and Silkie. Some for the joy of having green, blue, dark brown, and light brown eggs.

DH and I have talked into long evenings about different types of chickens and what would be best for us. what I would like to know for you is: a.) what kind of chickens do you have? b.) do you keep them for meat? eggs? both? strictly entertainment? c.) where do you live (what state, province, country)? d.) why did you chose this type chicken?
