[CHICKENS-101] Thank you and advice about sneezing

Thanks for the advice about my speckled sussex hen who seemed doomed a couple of weeks ago, with no signs other than fluffed feathers, loss of weight, and lethargy. I tried the Sulmet and it worked (again!). Perhaps some hens succumb to this when the weather gets really cold? Anyhow, I'm starting to think that Sulmet is my cure all when fall hits and a hen starts to decline.... And, I think I've discovered that if you put unfiltered cider vinegar in the water, your hens will lay more. Anyone else notice this correlation?
On another note, I have a delaware hen that sneezes - and quite loud too! But this has been going on for a couple of weeks at least and no other hen seems to be affected yet, and the delaware otherwise seems perfectly healthy. Is this something I should treat somehow? Or is this occurring because they are all cooped up more? Since we get loads of snow in winter, we constructed a "florida house" - an addition to the coop - that's basically a simple framed plastic coated room, so it's dry and heats up nicely when the temps are frigid and allows the hens more room... yet the air may not be very fresh despite the ventilation available. Perhaps this lack of fresh air is causing this hen to sneeze?
Best to you all,
Kristen in Vermont
