We don't have many coons here and I would have thought they would not let a prey get away. I have never seen one as long as I have lived here, wouldn't there be scratches on the trunk?
Whoever it was it is amazing my girl is alive. I was shocked to even hear the second attack I would have thought the first one would have gotten her, I would have gone out to try to save her after #1.
