The current topic seems to be how to slam or flame others for what
they think or say. I have always maintained that one of the basic
cornerstones of this list was "RESPECT' ....both given and received.
For some reason this idea seems alien to some or at best a part time
notion. I do not expect list members to agree ...heck I expect them not
to as it fosters discussion. But there are ways to discuss topics
respectfully and still get your opinions and thoughts across. Remember
that you are not seen just read so take care in the words you
choose...if you are upset or mad hold off or save your reply .... reread
what you have written and adjust accordingly. Keep in mind that what
you write goes out to 3500+ members.
So I am asking that we get back to being nice and showing respect for
one another. Failing to accomplish this will only alienate some, force
others to leave and others to just ignore most posts. My only recourse
is the use of moderation but this just increases my work load ..... so
your cooperation is the best solution.
