[CHICKENS-101] Operation "flew the coop" is a GO! the chicks are here!!

 

Please forgive my newbie enthusiasm but we got the call from the post office that our chicks were there at 6am this morning!
They are home, fed and watered...

Some seem to be napping ... sitting and closing their eyes like normal.. two looked like they were flopped over ... but woke up once I approached them and ate and drank more... so I think they were just dog tired from running around that first hour... at least I hope so...

I will be home all day to check on them and then hubby will be home all day tomorrow to keep an eye on temp/food/water I think by monday we will have things all settled so they can be alone while we are at work..
