I have up loaded a photo of our house thermometer. The weather man ended up declaring that it would be 109F. Our thermometer, that is in the shade, mounted on our house under our porch read 116F. Not claiming that it is accurate but it is the highest I have ever seen it.
I should know next Wednesday if the chicken was able to keep her eggs cool. I have another broody hen now. It's supposed to be under 100F on Wednesday so I think I'll give her six eggs and see what she can do with them.
