I feed mine 20% non medicated chick started then start mixing small pelleted duck feed when they are about two weeks into the chick starter. I leave them on that until they are grown, then slowly work them off onto duck feed.

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Help !! Question I need answered asap .....
I now have 3 ducklings. First hatched yesterday evening and 2 sometime overnight, and at least one more egg is pipping right now.
I just realized that I've simply been feeding the ducks as I feed the chickens ... a mix of layer pellets and scratch. Doesn't sound much like "duckling" fare to me ... so what do I get for them? And should I do as I do with chicks from the incubator and dip their beaks so that they'll learn how to drink? Or will mom take care of that? I know enough not to give them medicated feed but should I run and get non-medicated chick? Game bird? Mash?
Any advice (asap!) will be much appreciated.
