Re: [CHICKENS-101] Eggstremely happy

Oops! Any advice on how to get my American Bulldog to get along with my 3 mo old pullets? My Irish Wolfhound is OK so far but he's new to the family and just 12 weeks old. Bonnie

I'am the most haphazard flock tender. They get food and water everyday and run around loose.
I have 2 roosters and 5 hens, the one rooster has only 2 tail feathers a split in his comb from fighting the other. I thought buddy you got to stick up for yourself or your spaghetti sauce. Till I saw the other rooster squared off with my 110lb American Bulldog, he is a tough bird. (I got a pic of that I will try to post it up)
Anyway the hens are giving me eggs everyday, I might get around to building nest boxes before it snows.. Right now I rather enjoy my daily easter egg hunts, have found 7 places where they lay.
Yesterday I'm standing there with 4 eggs in my hands, thinking, this is just a great blessing and joy. I have the wood to build a real coop (soon, it's on the list)
I started giving a little oyster shell yesterday.
When I have all 7 birds on a 4x8 sheet of plywood surrounded by 4 bulldogs it is a sight to make ya smile :)
