At first I thought it was something she ate that she wasn't supposed to (something non-food). But - she's been in the house for the past two months so I could moniter & care for her 'cause it seemed to have given her "sour crop". Whatever it was (sour crop or whatever), it kept re-occuring until recently when I switched feeds from a pre-bagged pelleted chicken food to an all-natural feed that my mill custom-grinds & mixes. She hasn't gotten it again since being on this new feed (which the entire flock has now made the switch over to).
I don't care *what* it was in the pre-bagged feed that she might've reacted to, 'cause all the chickens love the new natural stuff so I'm never going back...........I just want to know if it's even possible for chickens to have food allergies at all?
Thanks,
Kate in WI :-)
