Do you have a source I could refer to, Sandie?  What I saw was that it was only 25% of the chicken raisers who have losses.  At 20,000 chickens per chicken house and 200 houses gone, and another 180 damaged that's a big loss. 

Lower Alabama is also a big chicken raising area and I can see houses from our back yard.  There are currently 4 and the people are in the progress of building more but I can't tell how many more.  One of the farms on my road has about 10 houses.

Now I keep hearing different amounts.  But Alabama lost their chicken industry..  So I'm thinking that the price of chickens and eggs are going to be up soon. 

And I think a few others were lost in other states.
