Sounds like you are off to a good start. They will grow quickly and when they are all feathered out they can be moved to a pen outside, a couple of months. You may have to give them more room as they grow so they don't peck at each other if they get crowded. Hope you enjoy them. They are addicting, you know. And no known cure for Chickenitis! Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Novice Chicken mama
Hi all, we are new to raising chickens and just brought home 4 new babies today. All different. We have them under a warming light, food and water and shavings. Anything else we need to be aware of?
We have them in a tote for now and at what point do we need to be concerned about moving them? They are in the house for now.
