Subject: [CHICKENS-101] New to group
I'm Kathy from North Central FL, and just wanted to say hi and I'm glad to be part of the group. I'm a retired teacher and I used to hatch chicks with my first graders every year... it's such a wonderful experience! My husband and I built a predator proof 14'x 20' chicken pen and are will be finishing the coop part of it today. We live in the country on 40 acres and we've got lots of varmints who have homesteaded our farm. We're getting some RIR pullets today or tomorrow and we've got the brooder box ready and waiting. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from you all.
