i havent had any problems with it at all except when i had a friend live with us and they didnt know what it was and used for.

Mine never did, spikes over 108, cooked eggs and crippled chicks.  The
Hovabator 1588 is worth it IMO, just for the peace of mind of not obsessing
over every little temperature change.  I use a big Sportsman incubator and
just bought a GQF hatcher, but I'll keep the Hovabator too :-)
