Ah hah!  That was clever side stepping wasn't it?  "...separate BUSINESSES....."  is NOT the same as separate companies.  Her response was a weasel out of it maneuver.

I never received an answer back and am going to dig deeper.  I know putrina opened a plant in China, the melamine food additive capital of the world.  I highlighted the part of the answer below that gave me pause, and food for thought.
