My chickens free range during the day as for pets they were all
pets,I had two hens who came on the porch and laid their egg by the front
door in a plastic tub full of hay. Each rooster had his own girls to pal
around with, one rooster was on the porch trying to show one of his girls,
that was a good place for her to lay , he would jump in and out of the tub
while clucking and turning round and round.
