hey thanks valerie, my daughter who will be 5 in a few weeks was said to be autistic, she has alot of ocd and issues that have autistic traits but we started in 3 different therapies at the age of 6 mos to help her. it has been working so we are continuing with 3 of them. she hates changes in her routines and all. i havent worked in almost 4 yrs and she makes it hard to leave her with anyone especially since she has severe food allergies and her behavior probs that the teachers even find hard to deal with in school.

Not sure if it is anything you would be interested in, but if you do any crafts or anything like that. There is (what I think anyway) a cool site called etsy.com. You can sign up for free and there is a small fee when you sell something. A lot cheaper that ebay. Check it out. I understand about not wanting to hire a sitter. It eats up what little you make. I have a 10 yo with high functioning autism. Makes it very difficult. He doesn't deal well with changes to his routine. My schedule is best at home.
