Re: [CHICKENS-101] re: fickle hens

Maybe the new mix isn't a good food or what they need.  Mine eat everything. Bless their fuzzy little butts. Mine also stay on the chick and game feed w/ oyster shell on the side. Cath

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] re: fickle hens

fwiw - I am doing the switch over gradually, mixed with the growth crumbles (just like I handle the dogs when I switch to a new food).  For whatever reason they have decided not to eat the new "mix".  Being a newbie at chickens I sure don't want them to starve but I also don't want to spoil them like the dogs have been spoiled.

Will they start to eat the new "mix" soon or do I need to go and get another bag of growth??  Geesh - hens with 'tude
