Eric, Di said her son like haggis while we were talking about balut.  I wouldn't touch balut for anything; it's absolutely gross. Never had haggis.  The menudo I had was delicious and I was done with dinner before my girlfriend told me what she used to make it. Cathryn

Cathryn, Balut is duck or, according to Faly, chicken embryos only a few days before they would hatch. Also eaten raw. Menudo is soup made from tripe, the lining of a cow's stomach.
