What a great idea! Wouldn't miss a drop of the yummy part that way. I never could figure out why people wanted skinless chicken, the fat juicy skin is my favorite part!
Maybe some of you could explain something for me. I just started butchering the chickens I hatched out earlier this summer. A bit tough, but very tasty, (think I should of had them butcherd before the cold snap hit) Anyway, last night as I was polishing off a drumstick, I noticed the bone was nothing like any chicken bone I have ever seen. It was nearly pure white, very smooth and quite hard. I have never seen such a smooth, slick chicken bone. Most are grey and have a rough textured surface. I have been feeding them good, chicken scratch, rabbit pellets, egg pellets, all the extra eggs we don't eat I boil for them, and they get a bowl of goat milk every evening, plus all the table scraps and left overs from the house.
