[CHICKENS-101] Re: A Stray Rooster adopted us...how do we keep him warm in the cold?

 

Hi Hope: If I remember right Kansas City doesn't get all that cold, colder than 10 deg F for an extended period and living with horses is like living in a heated coop. He should be fine. I think the Vet-wrap alone would be enough. The best roost would be a 2X3 or 2X4 with the wide side up.
