[CHICKENS-101] Re: Pickled eggs

 

Oh my goodness, have you ever asked the right group. LOL.
First, boil the eggs naturally. Now there is a correct way to boil eggs. Put them in a pot of warm water for a few minutes then bring to a boil, REMOVE FROM THE HEAT cover and let sit for 30 minutes. Remove the shells, this should not be a problem with egg 30 days old. From there you have choices, Any pickle recipe. Basically vinegar and spices. For small batches of a dozen commercial pickle juice saved from commercial pickles. Juice from pickled beets. Commercial pickling spices usually have instructions on the label. I keep mine in the fridge where they last almost forever. If you 'google' pickled eggs recipes you get over 200,000 sites.
