Re: [CHICKENS-101] Pecking Help?

I would switch him into another pen.  Some of my Polish are intolerant of anyone not in their group, which makes it difficult to add to the color groups.  I have a pen of mixed chickens and they are all Love Lumps.  They accept anyone who joins them.  I wouldn't leave any chicken in a group where it is picked on.

As for his injuries, take him in the house and care for him until he heals.

We have a Polish roo who keeps getting pecked on right on the head. He has a little bald spot on the top of his head where our other chickens are pecking at him. We purchased the 'No Pecking' ointment the other day but it doesn't seem to be getting any better. How many times are we suppose to put it on? Are we even using the right stuff? It's a dark purple in color and I put it on everyday. I feel really bad for the little guy! Thanks for any help :)
