Jamy, do you have a rooster that has a few favorites? One of my
little hens had a sore that wouldn't heal, and I got the scab off it and
found a deep infected slit. Took a couple of weeks to doctor her, but
it got well from the inside out. You can try pine tar from the feed
store. I imagine that doesn't taste too good.
