Now you have a point there, Cath! I never even thought of that. I will bet alot of these filthy places simply e-mail in a picture like that to the FDA and the FDA passes it.

I thought this was free range and organic was the feed and how they kept the hens parasite free.  I think the picture is staged. The birds had to have been put into that barn with it clean specially for the picture.  What do you think?  There is no way that huge barn would be clean like in the picture with that many pullets running around. Cath


Hens producing "organic" eggs are housed in giant warehouses - tens of thousands of them in one building where they may have "access" to outdoors which could be one door out onto a patch of asphalt.
