George, Smart silkies. The lawn mower is way bigger than they are and can throw rocks. Your babies are grown up and still want to act like spoiled rotten babies. :) Cath
When I had RIRs they would follow the lawn mower around the yard and the tractor out in the field when we were tilling up the garden. You had to be careful not to run them over. Now the RIRs and the garden are gone. Still mow the grass but the silkies run for cover every time the mower starts.
