I normally keep them in the house in a tote during the summer for about a week under a 100 watt bulb. Then they get moved out into the building with the 100 watt bulb but it is turned off during the day since it's in the 90s here. That's for another week or two depending on what the temperatures are and how well they're feathering out. By the end of the 3rd week they don't normally get the 100 watt light as they're well enough feathered and it's very warm here at night. The outside brooders are 4x4 and 3x4. Good luck. Angelique --- On Tue, 7/27/10, melis001@hotmail.
