Hi,
I was told that 3 of the chickens I bought are "Araucana's." Are they problably really Ameracaunas? They look like they have rumps but, I'm not really an expert on chicken bum shapes so I could be wrong...They are only a couple weeks old so no eggs yet...

Approximately what age will their eggs revert to brown? I had always though eggs might lighten/fade in color, but didn't didn't know the color could change so much.Figures. Now I'll have to buy chickens to keep my blue/green eggs coming....<G>Margo
