I happen to have a chocolate polish chick with me... Do you remember who it was who really wanted one? ROTFLOL!!   Cath

 

My husband ate my first egg and I was so upset!  I had wanted to blow it out and save the shell. 

That's so sweet your hubby has been providing all those various nesting materials.  The chicken maybe didn't know what to do and was really surprised to see an EGG behind her!  Let us know which nest they like best.
