I just talked to this Mexican family 4 houses down about chicks. He had about 50 chickens, from a few days old all the way up. He has two Roosters and works for a lawyer here in Tulsa Ok. Seems as long as they are clean (Oh, and they are), and doesn't smell, the city doesn't care how many chickens you have. He is giving me 5 1 year old birds that are laying all over the place this Thursday.
He said I needed to learn, "quieres un poco los huevos", in Spanish and English
