Some of the breeds have been given an unfair rap and are not like that. like cubalayas, they are great. Cath

 

Polish.  Polish are friendly chickens who enjoy a nice lap to sit on, and are good conversationalists.  They come in good colors, wear 'hats' on their heads, and are great at producing eggs. If you read the descriptions of chickens and it says "Avoids human contact", don't get them.  That means they will fly into the fence and try to break their own necks rather than have you get within 20 feet of them.
