Pete, I love toads!  Each spring I take a college class at our Intermediate School District.  Outside the doors is a wet area where thousands of little toads emerge from the retention ponds.  I  bring sturdy paper bags and pick up hundreds and hundreds of the little guys.   Cath

 

LOL yes toads are your friends :-)  We have many here as well as frogs ... we have an actual "Toad House" I got years ago.
