Re: [CHICKENS-101] As someone who has done rescue

His crop had water and no food.  He was fine in the morning after I brought him in.  He's eating light, so I am going to hand feed him three times a day. He is now sporting a rubber band in his crest.  I gave them little girl bands and showed them how to pluck around his eyes.  I need to pair him with a piggy hen to encourage him to eat.  He has been fed food that makes him feel bad because he is not chowing and is thin.  Not sick thin, but low nutrient thin. What does a soggy crop feel like?  Like he ate a cotton ball?  What does one do?  I give the chicks a pinch of grit in their food a couple times a week.
