No need to be sorry but it did ruin the cake my wife was making. She did learn to crack them in a bowl first. This is our first time with fresh eggs. I told my wife the reason we never have gotten  one with store bought is that they are checked with light I am sure. We do so like our chickens and fresh eggs. Ol George said that this will happen once in awhile but if there is a few the hen will be sick.  So all is well up here on the mountain.
