How to raise Backyard Chickens: [CHICKENS-101] Re: venting on my order

short answer is they can't, thats why they call them hatchery quality. You get some great ones and some not so much. I am having a chicken clearance sale if anyone is in southern california and needs chickens. We are planning on moving to North Carolina in the next few month or so and I can't possibly take them all
