LOL, Di, if I still had the pan I'd mail it to you to clean up!  It appeared to be pitted from its ordeal.  Only when we moved I forgot to check the dishwasher the last day I guess, because I'm missing 2/3rds of my pots and pans.  It was a Martha Stewart pan from Target. 

Hopefully I'll treat my Paula Deen stuff better!

Yes it will, Georgia, but the pan has to be worth the effort. I subscribe to your theory of buying inexpensive pans that I replace when I screw up badly. I have a few inherited from my mother and grandmother, that I will use an inordinate amount of elbow grease to clean up and out. Then again, I rarely burn anything in them because I'm so very careful because I'm lazy.
