The below is your description. I can only base an opinion on the symptoms you wrote. If the little one's leg is broken I'd put it to sleep and not even try. I'd do the same with an infection, but it sounded like you want to treat it. I'd treat it and hope for the best. Sorry I can't be more help. Cathryn

thanks, I though it might be broken or something could it really be a an infection? I have him in a sling around by waist to keep him close and warm. He's about 3days old today.
