The dachshund is a very stubborn breed of dog. The good thing about them is they love to snuggle. You can wrap them up in a blanket and hold them all day long. My yorkie is a little bit better behaved as far as wanting to listen.

I've seen those potty patch things advertised. I thought "gross" too. If it were carpet on top instead of grass, I would rush out and buy it. Neither of the dogs likes to step in grass outside. Even when the grass is freshly cut it is very high for them. Maybe I can find a potty patch to take a close look at and see if the fake grass is short enough to look like carpeting.

These two dogs are going to be around for a lot more years and I'd love to replace the carpet! Both of them bounce around like puppies at nine years old.
