Cath, we escaped with relatively little damage. The Silkies are locked up in their coop for now. They are begging to be let out but there is a couple inches of wet snow on the ground. In the warm weather the ground is starting to thaw making mud. The old thermometer on the side of the barn is up to "1 dog" That's tee shirt weather. Life can be sweet

> George, How absolutely scary! Do you take your silkies into where you shelter from storms? Glad your power is back and on, and that you and yours are safe. Do you have many trees down and a big mess to clean up/repair? Cathryn

The devastation was unbelievable. 100 year old trees thrown around like matchsticks. What I don't understand is why there was not more property damage or personal injuries. The chickens thought it was cool. First thing for me is a real cup of coffee then a hot shower. Even the skunk in the barn is avoiding me. Oh yes! the little stinker is back.
