[CHICKENS-101] Chick Supplements, etc.

 

My hens hatched out some chicks & I also purchased some chicks from our feed store. Am giving them crumbles & plain water.

Do I need to be adding any supplements, such as vitamins, antibiotics, meds, electolytes, etc. to their water or feed to be sure they remain healthy & strong?

With the exception of 1 chick, they are now a week old. I also have another hen about to hatch out some chicks.

I want to keep everything as natural as possible, & if it's not totally necessary or just a matter of preference, would prefer not to do anything other than giving them good nutritious food with a clean environment.
