My hubby went from four to five days, plus traveling. His company went through a big shake up this year in administration. He has had to work harder with his whistle and flute making he does on the side.
On the other hand, I have not worked outside the home in six years, but am trying to get a home business together. The creative part isn't too hard, but setting up the business and the administrative things, I am having a hard time with getting in order. It is happening, though, but not overnight.
Right now, the health is questionable, but getting better. I know what you mean about the hands giving out. I went through a spell where my hands were hurting quite badly. Getting that checked out.

I was in the store today, as were quite a few of my former co-workers. Some are getting transfers to the Walmart stores around, but I'm not sure I want to do that. I'm OLD and I need a break. I'll check out my options though. One person took a job as a cake decorator. My hands wouldn't last through making the first flower!
I'm glad your DH still has a job, but an hour and a half commute twice a day is wearing.
