I'm so sorry, Laurie, about what happened to your chickens. I hold my breath every morning when I go out to turn everybody loose.

I've placed my order with Ideal Hatchery for April delivery. They only sell Polish as straight run and I'm getting 5 chicks each of Black Crested White, Buff Laced, and White Crested Blue. The Polish we have now is a red bodied hen with a brown & white foofie. I suspect she is a mixed breed bird. She has RIR red coloring. The person I got her from had a whole pen of same coloring birds.

I only have one Polish left. GRRR Mine were all killed by the aforementioned predators. I have one Buff laced roo that's gorgeous!

I can't wait to get more I adoreeeeeeeeeeeeeee Polish chickens!
