The message you sent with several sites that tell about DDT .... the first one said that Mexico had Stopped using DDT Ten years back .

In some areas of Latin America DDT is still being used and Mexico is part of it.

Yes, it is terrible and takes forever to get out of the Eco-system and conversely the food chain. It is terrible that for as long as the deadly effects were known, it took almost 30 years of fighting to get it banned in the US because it would hurt industry and would be bad for the economy.

There are black spots on our Rhode Island Red's comb.
She won't let us hold her to look closely but we don't think it
is dirt.  Any ideas?
