I have a buff orpenter with dry brittle feathers that break when i pick her up is this diet related????? She is also turning some white color on certain feathers. she is only one year and a half.

Ray, what a great post! And I could not agree with you more. Those old forgotten laws can and will be used against you if someone has an axe to grind.
It has long been my opinion that city people are WAY out of touch with reality. I'm sure lots of you have seen that email that floats around every hunting season that shows an add in a news paper that says, "Shame on you hunters for killing the poor little animals, you should get your meat at the grocery store where no animals are harmed."
Now, if we could just get everybody to grow a back bone and stop going along to get along, and stand up to some of this garbage, mabe we could make a difference. A good start if your in Missouri is to VOTE NO on Prop. B :-)
