Re: [CHICKENS-101] Sumatra Crow

 

I went to Youtube and typed "sumatra" "crowing" into the search window and lots of videos popped up.  Here's one.

[CHICKENS-101] Mean Little Chickie

 

I still have my first house rooster, Dovey Dean. We would sic him on
shiny potato chip bags - we even have a You-Tube video of him fighting
the potato chip bag. And much to my shame, I did the foot-fighting
thing with Dovey. He is almost six years old and still feisty. But he
still likes getting the feather cuticles removed from his mane, but if
he is mad at you, he will take a chunk of skin, bite it and shake his
head, like a dog. The other roosters have had more gentle treatment and
are still pretty good little boys. Even Eggolas, the outside rooster
has bit me only once, and that was because I wasn't wearing pants, but
pedal-pushers. Guess all that blinding white flesh scared him. ;)
